As of September 1st, 2025, the safety classification under the European CLP Regulation has been changed.
Some Varnish Products for MGI contain the photo initiator “TPO” =chemical name: Diphenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phosphine oxide, CAS: 75980-60-8, which is reclassified under the European CLP Regulation(*) as “Reproductive Toxicity Category 1B”.
This new classification requires you to clarify the related classification and handling of the chemical substance on the packaging labels of the products, and SDS.

Accordingly, please Announce to your service engineers and customers about the reclassification of the regulation and remind to comply with the instructions noted in the SDS (e.g. wearing safety googles and gloves when refilling the varnish).
