Ramadan 2016-2021– ( this is done every year of Ramadan)

Ramadan is a time for charity and giving to the under privileged children & families in the society. It doesn’t have to be money but perhaps food, meals and clothes. In collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, of which is known for its humanitarian activities all over the UAE and the rest of the world, BME have organized this charitable activity,
“Share A Touch of Love”, a clothes donation campaign that runs seasonally every Ramadan.

We, are committed to participate and collaborate every Ramadan to share our love to the deserving families in the UAE and outside the country. Employees would bring their used clothing & garments (in good condition), and deposit them in the box.

Prior to the end of Ramadan, the donation box has to be drop off to the office of Red Crescentlocated in Garhoud airport, Dubai.
It's been inculcated in our heart and mind that when we donate, we are not only giving a gift, but we are also giving a gift of life.
We could even transform someone’s future and helping heal our society with our donation one at a time.

BME initiated two activities during the holy month of Ramadan 2018. The team supported the voluntary donation of clothing, bags, shoes and toys, which were brought to the KM office and delivered before the end of Ramadan to the Red Crescent in the UAE.


The second initiative was to help and support the “Al Ahlia Charity school for girls” which is located in Dubai. With the help of Juma Al Majid, we produced coloring books on the

KM machines in their showroom and distributed them to the kinder garden children, as well as donating some pretty new dresses to some very excited little girls. Three members of the BME team had the privilege to visit the school and distribute the new cloths and coloring books to the children, as part of our CSR commitment. The Al Ahlia Charity School offers places to children who have come from Syria, Yemen and other war zones. The school has over 2,400 students with overcrowding a major problem and with more than 2,000 students on the waiting list to attend, each year the number gets higher.

In June 26, 2020, during the pandemic (covid-19), Konica Minolta donated one MFP copier machine to SENSES, a Residential and Day Care for Special Needs.There were 102 children with various special needs were enrolled at Senses from which 76 children were accommodated in the residential care facility.


The charity donation was collaborated by JUMA Al Majid by extending their service support in the logistics part, and provided a one-year free maintenance support.


SENSES management was very thankful and greatly appreciated the generous support that Konica Minolta and JUMA Al Majid extended for the children with special needs.
